June 26, 2011 at 6:24 amThis painting is based on the June 1976 cover of MAD Magazine. http://www.comics.org/issue/93983/cover/4/ Hopefully the magazine and the original artist (Norman Mingo did many of the MAD covers I remember) were tolerant of the infringement, because it’s a cool painting!
